Terms of service
Last updated: June 5, 2026
These Terms of Service apply to wpchangesync.com, WPChangeSync licences, product updates, support, documentation, and related services. By using the website, buying or activating a licence, or using WPChangeSync, you agree to these terms.
If you use WPChangeSync for a company, client, agency, or other organisation, you confirm that you are allowed to accept these terms on its behalf.
Product scope
WPChangeSync helps WordPress teams export, import, push, pull, review, and automate WordPress changes using Git-friendly JSON, remotes, workflows, integrations, conflict strategies, backups, audit logs, and related tooling. It can work with Bricks Builder and with broader WordPress data where supported integrations are available.
GPL plugin code and commercial services
WPChangeSync plugin code is distributed under GPL-2.0+ where applicable. A commercial WPChangeSync licence governs access to paid distribution channels, licence activation, product updates, support, premium services, and related commercial benefits. The commercial licence does not remove rights granted under the GPL for GPL-covered code.
Licences, activations, updates, and support
- A valid licence may be required for updates, support, remote/API features, and premium functionality.
- Licence limits, activation counts, renewal terms, and plan features are shown at checkout, in your account, or in direct commercial communication.
- You are responsible for keeping licence keys confidential and for deactivating licences on sites you no longer control.
- We may change product features, plan packaging, pricing, and support channels over time. Existing customer rights will be handled according to the terms active at purchase or renewal.
Payments, renewals, and refunds
Payments, subscriptions, renewals, invoices, VAT/tax handling, and refunds may be processed through our checkout and licensing providers. The checkout terms shown at purchase apply to the transaction. Unless a different refund policy is stated at checkout or required by law, refunds are reviewed case by case for technical issues we cannot reasonably resolve.
Your responsibilities
- Test sync workflows on staging before production use.
- Create and verify backups before imports, overwrites, automated sync, or remote pushes.
- Review dry runs, selected scope, conflict strategies, and workflow steps before execution.
- Keep WordPress, themes, plugins, PHP, server software, and credentials secure and up to date.
- Use remotes, webhooks, application passwords, API tokens, and SSH/shell steps only where you have permission.
- Comply with privacy, security, employment, client, and data-processing obligations that apply to your own WordPress sites.
High-risk operations
WPChangeSync can move production data, overwrite content, sync media, modify configuration, trigger workflow steps, and run automation. Those capabilities are powerful and require operational judgement. You are responsible for choosing appropriate settings, reviewing output, limiting access, and confirming that a workflow is suitable for the target site.
Acceptable use
You may not use WPChangeSync or related services to attack systems, bypass access controls, exfiltrate data, violate licences, distribute malware, infringe rights, or perform unauthorised actions on sites you do not own or manage.
Third-party services and integrations
WPChangeSync interacts with WordPress, Bricks Builder, Gutenberg, ACF, Meta Box, ACPT, CSS frameworks, checkout/licensing providers, email tools, hosting providers, and other plugins or services depending on your stack. Those third parties have their own terms, warranties, limitations, data practices, and update cycles.
No guarantee of uninterrupted or error-free operation
We work to make WPChangeSync reliable, but no sync, migration, automation, backup, or deployment tool can guarantee perfect results in every WordPress environment. To the maximum extent permitted by law, WPChangeSync and related services are provided without warranties beyond those expressly stated.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, WPChangeSync is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive, or business-loss damages, including lost profits, lost revenue, lost data, lost goodwill, downtime, or the cost of substitute services. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount paid for the relevant licence or service during the twelve months before the claim.
Termination
We may suspend or terminate access to updates, support, accounts, or services if these terms are breached, payment fails, licence abuse occurs, or continued access creates security, legal, or operational risk. You may stop using WPChangeSync at any time and deactivate licences on your sites.
Governing law
Unless mandatory law provides otherwise, these terms are governed by Dutch law. Disputes should first be raised with us so we can try to resolve them in good faith.

We may update these terms when WPChangeSync, checkout, licensing, support, or legal requirements change. Continued use after an update means you accept the updated terms.
